Check out my remix on the new These Days EP by Benjamin Runyan, aka City Rain. The original is a great, lush, down-tempo, vocal track, but I re-worked it into a more lively number with some piano chords that alternate between sounding like house music and a rumbling dance-classical piece.
The EP also contains some nice remixes by Alka and Aligning Minds.
I must say that I’m really excited about what Ben has been putting out lately. I’ve heard a good amount of his upcoming vocal album and I can honestly say the best is yet to come from this young guy.

Ben Runyan, aka City Rain, has already done a stellar remix for my upcoming single, Undone. In exchange, I remixed “This I will Remember Pt. 1″ from his recent This I Will Remember LP.
While I was putting down ideas for the remix, an idea for vocals popped into my head. I knew it would be a little unusual to remix a track and then sing a pop song over it, but I decided to go with my artistic instincts. The result is, I think, one of the catchiest set of vocals that I’ve written.
“I Remember” will appear on the I Remember EP coming out August 11th on Electronic Eel Records. Take a listen to the track below:
The first single from my upcoming full-length is set to be released July 14th on Output Noise Records. The single will have some awesome remixes by City Rain, Autorock, Master Flashhh, and 8 Bit Fit. I’m super excited about this one! Check out a preview of the original below:
I mentioned not too long ago that Electric Eel Records will be releasing a collaboration between me and City Rain entitled “I Remember”. The release will feature a remix by Aligning Minds who were recently interviewed on Powerstrip Circus. You can listen to their remix of “I Remember” as well as read the interview here:

2009 is looking to be quite a productive year for me. I have four releases coming out by the end of the summer and at least a couple more to show up later in the year. Here is what you can expect from me in the coming months:

July 14th 2009 – Undone (Output Noise)
August 2009 – I Remember w/ City Rain (Electric Eel)
Also expected an EP in May/June from my rock/electronic project New Models as well as my disco/house project Dmerit.
