Although people have been pretty curious about my new vocal/dance material, when Shelby Cinca (who runs the Swedish Columbia label) asked me to remix “Afterimages” by Itaru, he specifically requested me to do an IDM remix. After making so many dance tracks recently, I was excited about the challenge of creating something similar to my older material. Using Aphex Twin’s “On” as inspiration, I tried to capture the lo-fi magic of early 90s techno. Anyway, I hope you enjoy it.
