Just in case you got distracted in all of the commotion of the holiday season last month, Purse Candy, an emerging singer/producer/guitarist from Portland Oregon, released a great EP called One Day I’ll Look Back. It includes six new tracks as well as my remix of “We Don’t Have The Heart”. Take a listen a below:

The nice folks over at BYT (Brightest Young Things) have written a lengthy review of the show I played at The Fridge last weekend with Bluebrain and Autorock. I think they enjoyed it…

Apologies for the lack of updates, but I’ve been super busy getting things ready for my new album which FINALLY comes out February 9th on my label, Output Noise Records. This one will be available in CD and digital formats. Definitely take a preview of the tracks below.

Also, I’ll be performing many of these songs LIVE at The Fridge this Saturday. I’ll be supporting the up and coming (and awesome) DC band, Bluebrain and there will also be DJ support from my one of my favorite DC producers, Autorock. The show should be crazy!

Check out my remix on the new These Days EP by Benjamin Runyan, aka City Rain. The original is a great, lush, down-tempo, vocal track, but I re-worked it into a more lively number with some piano chords that alternate between sounding like house music and a rumbling dance-classical piece.

The EP also contains some nice remixes by Alka and Aligning Minds.

I must say that I’m really excited about what Ben has been putting out lately. I’ve heard a good amount of his upcoming vocal album and I can honestly say the best is yet to come from this young guy.

Baltimore techno label MORE OR LESS (on which I’ve put out a couple of releases this year) has been throwing the monthly MOL techno parties for two years now and will celebrate their anniversary this Friday. Unfortunately, the MOL parties will no longer be as frequent, but apparently this will make the label and the party even stronger in the future (see their explanation below.) I will be spinning at the event and so you should come out as this might be the last time you see me playing at the Hexagon in a little while.

“2 years, 4 venues and 4,000 beers later MOL is coming to the end of it’s current chapter. MOL as a monthly is no more, but MOL as a one off event and roaming sound system is soon to be. We are taking this break as the perfect opportunity to develop our roster and catalog on the label side as well as plan out upcoming events in the Baltimore area. Thanks for supporting our parties month in and month out.”
